Info

I've been a creative developer since 1998. Back when the dotcom bubble was still floating around in it's pre-popped state. I was a kid just out of art school with a degree in Visual Communications, when 2 weeks out, I landed a job at a web shop as a Jr. Designer. I didn't know anything about building websites or writing code. Somehow, I ended up in the position of being the "Flash guy" there, back before Actionscript fully existed. Nothing but timeline tweens and tell-targets baby!

Since then, I guess I've come a little ways from the days of Flash 3 tell-targets and Dreamweaver rollovers. I've grown to become an experienced Flash developer, who's also pretty decent with PHP / MySQL / HTML & CSS. Did I mention have a design degree?

I was a founding partner at The Apt5a Design Group, a start-up design agency in New York City (yeah...I know..."how cliché", although we did manage to survive 4 1/2 years through the 'bubble burst' period). Did some really cool projects for clients like Topps, Bacardi, McCann Erickson-owned ad agency Amster Yard, Blue Note Records, and Sony Music.

Currently, I'm at SiiTE Interactive, where I mainly design & develop Flash projects for a number of clients, including Esquire, The Hearst Corporation, Toyota, and Condé Nast, just to name a few.

Some of my offline, and non-work related interests include the study of urban typography, sneaker-culture and collecting (since 1993 obsessively), finding recorded gems pressed on vinyl for use on old-fashioned phonographs, spontaneous road trips & travelling as much as possible, and pwning n00bs on Call Of Duty 4 Multiplayer
(xbox live gamer tag: A Dookie Bomb...come see me).
